Washington, DC; Fall Open Faceoff Days
Each open faceoff day will start by running the players through our core warm-up; followed by a small presentation and group practice of a new drill. New drills will vary week to week but will focus on all elements of a faceoff; footwork, primary move, counter moves, second move, ground ball play, stick work, fast break reading, and shooting etc. The faceoff day will conclude with live faceoff's and a skill appropriate king of the hill (faceoff competition). Washington, DC; Winter Open Faceoff Days
Each winter open faceoff day will start by running the players through our core warm-up followed by repetition and competition. In the winter, we will focus and emphasize on technique, repetition, and competition to get the players ready for the spring. The faceoff day will conclude with live faceoff's and a skill appropriate king of the hill (faceoff competition).
